Thanks for the bid to cover info.

What is it that indicates that the auction sucked? I thought values over 2 were considered good. I note that 57.99 went off at high yield - does that maybe mean lots of bidding initially, but that demand dried up, and they had to let them go cheaper at the end?

Quote from IDS

"I'd much rather live in this age than past ignorant ones."

Past level of "general" ignorance of the population...99.9999999%

Current level of "general" ignorance of the population...99.999999%

So after 6000+ years we have basically as a whole become 0.0000009% less ignorant...most of that gain was in the past 200 years...

Look at this headline --- and then an anal cyst's response later in the article:

=WSJ.COM: US Stocks Down; Valuation Concerns Weigh On Mkt

"Stocks appear overvalued but (we) also argue that earnings will rise to the occasion," said Kent Engelke, capital markets strategist at Anderson & Strudwick. "Market action is suggesting even greater prices in the not so distant future, perhaps beginning in the next few weeks as the result of the dearth of profit warnings."

Apologies to Dr. Seuss:

Three thousand points up! Up the side of Mt. Dow,

He rode up with his load to slay that fat cow!

"Pooh-Pooh to the dippers!" he was grinch-ish-ly humming.

"They're finding out now that no rally is coming!"

"They're just waking up! I know just what they'll do!"

"Their mouths will hang open a minute or two

Then the dips down in dip-ville will all cry Boo-Hoo!"
