Obama is clearly leading with Latinos probably being under polled. But drama must be maintained until the end.

BTW, I really liked this quote from the other board.

"If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal."

(Emma Goldman)

Will we see new low in 10 year bond???

Purely from looking at that pattern, my no confidence prediction would be that it goes back down to lows. But as I said. Zero confidence. Trying to recall similar patterns from vague memory.

Another possibility is deep retracement (76.4%) after which the yield should take off.

In Hurricane Sandy's wake, many in N.J. casting aside plans to vote

http://www.nj.com/po...art_maj-story-1

Just sayin'

Hard to vote when:

  • You're just trying to survive
  • You're house is destryoed
  • You're town is destroyed
  • You're polling place has been moved and you don't know where because you are incommunicado

Given how that area of the county votes, I think the Sandy may swing things in Romney's direction

____________

Regardless of who wins, and assuming Doc's Nov 14 QEbux forecast is correct, and if they rally the market using that $, then it'll be "Look market happy about elections results"

Of course the fiscal cliff thing is still there pushing things the other way

So there's that

_____________

This just about sums things up on a local as well as broader scale

Not America the Beautiful

I'll title it -- America, in the Dump

If either NY or NJ ends up in R column and R wins because the turnout was suppressed, there will be a constitutional crisis as groups go to court to sue for a new election. However, much of LI and Jersey shore may be R country so the suppressed vote could cancel out. I'm not expert on the registration. Apparently over the past 15 years both Nassau and Suffolk have been going D, by narrow margins. If most of NYC and non coastal Jersey can vote, then D should still win both states.
