The SIT TA Symposium March 12, 2003

Recommended Posts

Good Morning and Good Stool to all.

This thread is your short term and intraday TA refuge. No chit chat. That goes on the adjacent IDS thread. Longer term TA posts should go on LOB or Dr. Bontchev's TA forum!

Traders, take it away!

PS, you may have noticed, we have a new name, SIT. That's right, the Stool Institute of Trading. Doc figured that it was appropriate to have a name reflectiing what we do all day.

SIT

OK, I don't want to hear any jokes about this.

as of yesterday's close - this morning's action pushed the ST chart down to the bottom of the range at its low (792) -

Having bounced, I expect sideways to a little down for a couple of hours (retest pre-market lows?) and then a couple of hours rebound

projecting

+.15pts per hour for 10 hours in yellow

+0 in white

-.15 in yellow

For those unfamiliar with my charts, an explanation can be found here. It focuses on daily data but is applicable to hourly by substituting hours for days in the trends, moving averages, lookback periods, slopes, etc

I think the low is in for the rest of the day - but it could be sideways from here for a while
