wrecked him
I just realized something this morning. I was playing around with the triangle lines and extended them to the point where they meet at the apex. If if fact that is a triangle on the 60 minute chart and we have now broken below it to start the next move down, it would not be unreasonable to expect some kind of bounce (and possible trend change- temporally speaking) at that aforementioned apex. This theoretically could be the end of a B wave and the commencement of a sharp C up. Keep in mind that c waves (according to this particular count we are currently in it) tend to be quite sharp (often acting as a kind of wave 3) and can be equal to or even 1.61 or 2.61 or very rarely 3.61 the size of wave a. Looks like about 900 points down into the triangle so again could expect 900 points from breadown of same. This would take us to around 7000. What happens there is very important. If we move up sharply then we could be looking at a C wave up prior to the big move down. If we don't then this present c wave could extend into the waterfall decline that most people (but not all) on this board are expecting.
wrecked him
Here is the shorter term count. 5 waves down. The 2 up could backtest the 60 minute breakdown line.

DrStool
Hey there bubba good buddy! You have indeed found a leftover vestigial remanant of the previous day which Doc forgot to change. Now the question is, which is right? Since the 1290 was alomost hit already, that should have been changed to ???. Many tanks for catching that. Hey, what took you so long? Oyster
To get that downside motion going in the above chart we ahave to break this on the weekly (green Gann line)....so you ub=nderstand wht this takes time here....market needs to carry enough new longs in here to get the steam going for the downside test. wrecked him
Oyster Have you noticed that the ADX did not rise on your wave 1 count. By combining both, I suspect that the real downtrend did not start until the January high. BTW, am most impressed by your insight.
