DrStool
Hard- See my discussion of divergences over on Mark to Market. Divergences are meaningless without considering the cycle context. To oversimplify, postive divergences are bullish in a bull market and bearish in a bear market. longOnUranus
Elvis (aka "Crazy Al") has not yet left the building. In an pristine, unfettered market, pure as the virgin in spring, TA is worthwhile . With the the Lunatic Printsalot on the loose in a light market, Ms. Cleo could be just as accurate. I don't buy into any "trend" until we get more volume, and a new year.

Charliss
there is absolutely no support underneath this pig. The prior motivation to float this load is now over as the year is out. Everyone is bullish and has piled on for maximum capital depreciation. PD- We had better throw in the towel, discard our illusions.... A manager of other peoples money was just on crapvision and she stated that the S&P is at least 25% undervalued and that this does not even include forward looking prospects for the companies represented. We must believe her because anyone who manages other peoples money must be very intelligent, responsible, and correct in judgement and opinion. No doubt, our willingness to confront truth, our act of honesty, will be most difficult....yet, we must be humble in the presence of experts lest we suffer needlessly.... DrStool
LoU- I beg to differ. The technical indicators have worked flawlessly. This market has been entirely predictable. Al's a eunuch. People are trading this market very successfully using TA and cycle analysis. Blaming Al is an excuse.
