Guest
The powers behind the Nigerian Rebels can fund their entire operation just by becoming oil traders. Since their own words are responsible for major shifts in price direction, it makes perfect sense for them to time their trades in advance of their own pronouncements. Any reason to believe it's not already happening? Is this stuff easy, or what?
Mars
Let me try to refresh a memory or two - The G7 was going to request (require) the United States to "devalue" the dollar by at least 20% and China was going to be rquired (requested) float the RMB. On Thursday the dollar collapsed and all was joy. Today, neither of the above has taken place, and all of the currencies that were on a "moon shot" Thursday have roundtripped to where they started. Just wondering if anyone else remembers any of this or did I just dream it? Fade the conventional wisdom - you will be correct more often than not. Ned38
Aside from TA, 2 oddball theories come to mind 1--------Housing values gonna take a hit and so investment ports gotta go up to offset that negative wealth effect 2-------Since so much investment activity is based off shore , maybe foreigners are liking the idea of a Kerry victory

machinehead
Worldwide Meltup in all indices in progress. Hats off to the Plutocrats................... If you check the 1-day charts for euro markets such as London and DAX, there's a gap-up open, followed by a flatline. traderfromhell
Would like to see the metals hold around here. Lower leads to serious liquidation I'm afraid. Should be a good place to add.
soup
with gold down big the stock mkt *should* be getting decimated. They were tlking stocks up big as a result of hyperinflation via devaluation. Can they really have it both ways? I dont think so.
