The End
Georgia, Georgia, the whole day through Just an old sweet song Keeps Georgia on my mind Talkin' 'bout Georgia Georgia A song of you Comes as sweet and clear as moonlight through the pines Other arms reach out to me Other eyes smile tenderly Still in peaceful dreams I see The road leads back to you Georgia, oh Georgia, no peace I find Just an old sweet song Keeps Georgia on my mind Other arms reach out to me Other eyes smile tenderly Still in peaceful dreams I see The road leads back to you Georgia, Georgia, sweet Georgia No peace, no peace I find Just this old, sweet song Keeps Georgia on my mind Just an old sweet, sweet song Keeps Georgia forever on my mind
The End
Ol' Man River Lyrics Here we all work 'long the Mississippi Here we all work while the white folk play Pullin' them boats from the dawn till sunset Gettin' no rest till the judgment day Don't look up and don't look down You don't das make the boss man frown Bend your knees and bow your head And pull that rope until your dead Let me go 'way from the Mississippi Let me go 'way from the white man boss Show me that stream called the River Jordan That's the old stream that I long to cross. Ol' Man River, that Ol' Man River He don't say nothin', but he must know somethin' He just keeps rollin', he keeps on rollin' along He don't plant tatters, and he don't plant cotton And them what plants em, are soon forgotten But Ol' Man River, just keeps rollin' along You and me, we sweat and strain Body all achin' and racked with pain Tote that barge and lift that bail You get a little drunk and you lands in jail I gets weary, and sick of trying I'm tired of livin', but I'm scared of dyin' But Ol' Man River, he just keeps

BearWash
This was posted on another board. New war, new jam? People at the BBC are flapping about a major story!! My cousin who works as an assistant editor with BBC News in London just phoned to let me know that he has been advised to be available this weekend for a "major" coverage news story. He mentioned that all the big wigs and senior editors and producers have been in meetings all day and there are major rumors about a story that has been covered by a D Notice (the supression of a news story in the UK which may be damaging to the National Security). He also said that the managers are working and planning at a frantic pace not seen since Princess Di was killed. Almost everyone knows that something is going down but the management are saying that it is to do with the funeral of Regan on Friday but they don?t believe a word of it. He knows a few people on the top floor (secretaries) and they mentioned some people having a meeting today with the Board of Governors - there were a couple of names mentioned but he has no idea who they are - M or N Wilkinson, J Grieve and someone else named Ormand or similar - any ideas?? Thats all he could say but something is not quite right.

Two are MPs and the other a political commentator (Jocelyn Ormond). Sounds like something British and political.

threadbare
Bearwash, My guess about the goings on at BBC--they've got something huge about the "death" of David Kelly.
brian4
Link I have been saying for months that the main reason for the high price of Oil is China. Here's proof-simply mind boggling 74 Million customers.
BearWash
Threadbare, I don't know if the BBC thing is made-up or not. The original poster claims he just got off the phone again and the manager is going mental. Another poster claims he works at the BBC and nothing is unusual. One thing is for sure -- there are a whole bunch of rumors (rumours) going around!
threadbare
Brian, We're on the same page. Check this out. "Oil is far too cheap at the moment," says Mr Simmons. "The figure I'd use is around $182 a barrel. We need to price oil realistically to control its demand. That is because global production is peaking." The people who will be least affected will be the super poor, who already have no access to energy, and the super rich who do not care if oil is $100 a barrel." "It is everyone who is in the middle who will be hurt the most," says Mr Bakhtiari. "When the crisis comes there will be enormous changes If Saudi does not increase supply by 3 million barrels a day by the end of the year we will face, how can I say this, it will be very difficult. We will have difficult times. They must invest." Asking other delegates - admittedly supporters of the peak oil theory - whether such a steep increase was feasible, the answers were unambiguous: "absolutely out of the question," "completely impossible," and "3 million barrels - never, not even 300,000." One delegate laughed so hard he had to support himself on a table http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/3777413.stm
