Holding short here. Still have not seen a single accumulation day since Turdsday, 10/15. Today will make 8 uninterupted distribution days. I have no clue what to expect next, so I'll just go with the flow.

I apologize - today was not a distribution day. It was a churn. And I took it for granted that volumes would be higher than yesterday because it was the FOMC, but they look like they are going to finish down from yesterday. Basically, volumes have fallen all three days this week = noise. The only clue here is the downside reversal today, which was on huge volumes. Sellers still have the upper hand.

As mentioned in IDS i covered all my ES short from about 1057 towards the close.

Looking at today's chart, maybe we are just a day behind? Check out today's candle and compare it to June 25th.

Interestingly, June 24th was an FOMC announcement. They ramped it up on Thursday and then the markets drifted for 4 days before taking one more plunge and then starting to rally.

This time around, I think the markets are out of gas. Of course, you nimble guys can trade it. B)
