I see not fundamental reason whatsoever why that should be the case, in fact I would argue that a rate hike should be supportive at the longer end. Good point Major but as we have see in the last 2 years 13 RATE CUTS reduced the yield on long paper Can the fed have it both ways? We will have to wait and see.
