Gold +2.2% is the chief mover in the Aussie market followed by Materials +2% and Consumer Discretionary/Miners +1.9%. Telecomms is the only downer, -3%. The resource sector did particularly well: Gold +2.6% and Materials/Miners +2.3%. Over in Asia, China +1%, Honkers +0.7% and Nikkers +1.1%.
