Alright, who's missing?

Bear rescued from bridge after nearly falling off

Volunteers use net to save bruin who jumped railing 80 feet above ground

TRUCKEE, Calif. - A 250-pound bear stranded under a bridge near Lake Tahoe was saved by an army of rescuers, a tranquilizer dart and a nylon net bought at an Army surplus store.

Claw marks on the concrete railing of the Rainbow Bridge show where the bruin's ordeal began, said Dave Baker of the Truckee BEAR League, who was the first to arrive on the scene Sept. 15.

He shouldn't have bet everything on those OIH puts.

Then again, he may just have been premature.

Viva la resistance!? Bears last short term stand, or else i suspect a 100-odd blast to new highs today.

611682

I think this holds...

In a matter of fact, i think we go down hard today.

611683

SELL! SELL! SELL! Mark Haines "likes October" he thinks we go higher! This is a contrary indicator with a 90%+ accuracy. He is almost always wrong!

What he meant to say was that he "likes whiskey" and plans to "get higher."

Hard for me to imagine the US indices declining very much so long as the YEN is consistently sold.

While it appears that the movements of the US indices and the YEN are like two dancers on TV joined at the hip, any break in the US indices without a rise in the YEN seems like a buying stock market opportunity.

Anything else at this point sure seems like short term noise to me.

A bit like Victor Niederhoffer. Bet the farm this summer on S+P puts and I hear he is practically out of business. Still I can't talk, got burnt on GRMN this morning.

That is correct. All this bad news will give Helo Ben a chance to cut interest rates another 50 basis points which will fix everything :o
