The fire was extinguished but the status of operating units at the refinery was unclear, fire department officials said. The refinery has its own fire crew, and the Whiting Fire Department wasn't called in to respond, a fire official said. I believe we are now seeing the first impacts of a collosal blunder in the timing of fiscal and monetary stimulous to the political landscape.
