Guest
This from yesterday's New York Post: A 73-year-old man who used an air-raid siren to stun his wife into submission has had it confiscated. "My wife never lets me get a word in edgeways," the man, identified as Vladimir R., told cops in Manheim, Germany. "So I crank up the siren and let it rip for a few minutes. It works every time. Afterwards, it's real quiet again." Rosina, Vladimir's wife of 32 years, said she sometimes had to yell to get his attention. "My husband is a stubborn mule so I have to get loud," she explained. In a late breaking development regarding this situation a major studio has purchased the movie rights to this story. Filming will begin this summer and it will be called Silence Of the Wives. longOnUranus
Front-running the front runners : Van der Tulips in trouble: (CNN) "Separately, some on Wall Street were asking whether any investors may have got wind of the NYSE's probe before everyone else, since shares of LaBranche and the American depositary receipts of Dutch-based Van der Moolen -- another specialist house -- both began falling mid-afternoon last Wednesday on heavy volume, according to the Journal. Van der Moolen shares traded down 6.2 percent at 8.71 Tuesday after the firm confirmed it was among the houses being investigated by the NYSE. " Oy...you've been in the cookie jar again, haven't you?
