Because they are "over the hill and gaining speed", and therefore are subject to low self esteem, and therefore are more receptive to "casual encounters" with strange men. Kathie Lee (INTC) is the oldest Supermodel. Occasionally, she gets a spurt of publicity and attention, and immediately must "resubstantiate" her standing in the modeling and glamour industry by holding periodic updates and photo shoots to prove to the men that she's still hot. Prior to such updates, cellulite is removed, breasts are uplifted, and the most expensive clothes are purchased. No expense is spared for image upgrades. But age and gravity finally catch up, and some young Asian supermodel will suddenly be doing the Carnival Cruise TV spots, and the men will be clamoring for her because she's "new, younger, and different." Tonight, we'll hear of INTC's mid-quarter update. Of course, INTC trades at 50x trailing and 7x sales. Why is that? Because they have been channel stuffing and jacking up sales to provide the proper "appearance" of a growth stock, even though the next two years its sales will be cut in half. As we speak, Chinese Chip Monkeys are busy cloning INTC Pentiums, and soon, INTC will be "intermediated" out of the marketplace with cheap knockoffs from Asian Exotica competitors. To make matters worse, the supposed "Asian Demand" for which the channel is being stuffed for will likely fall apart, as these "hot economies" suffer from the usual Credit Crashes which will knock off demand for a few years. By that time, Barrett and Grove will have sold out at the top, and will have moved to the South Pacific enjoying their own versions of Asian Exotica. Bagholders stuck with INTC will have to endure yet another spectacular downside gap which INTC is famous for pulling off when Riverboaters least expect it. As usual, the Global Speculative Sphere hangs in the balance. Billions of eyeballs will be gaming the conference call in the AfterHours, powerclicking on the 5-second charts. Just like Alan Newman's 23-year old nephew, found to be PowerTrading millions of shares of INTC stock in a single day. Let's see what type of spin job is trotted out tonight. Forensic Analysis calls for an Upside Explosion after repeated intraday selloffs have baited hundreds of short-only HedgeHogs into this Aged Screamer.
