richmtn: yes I am a sucker for the big breasted types

My neighbour and his wife are giving themselves slightly unusual Christmas presents.

She is getting a boob job and he is getting a laser throat operation that cures snoring.

Only in America.

A good friend has strongly suggested I finally enter the gold markets - he suggests NEM and GFI? Any thoughts?

While Madame Dung's rack is "jack" by me, I bet she would love for me to have one of those laser throat operation to cure my snoring. Is it expensive? I have taken a variation on B4's advice to AssMaster last night and have started scalping until I am convinced this bull move is completely tapped. Went long on my girlfriend, QLGC right before the close at $39.5. I'll try to pick up 5% in the next couple of days then, if that works out, I'll then short it.

Mousey: I don't know if it is expensive. I don't snore

- otherwise I would have suggested the same for my wife.

The great thing about Denise Richards is even

with her clothes on it feels like porn. How on earth did Charlie Sheen get her? That car wash scene in Wild Things!

I think C is looking like a good short - might double my position.

MD, its definitely tapped baby! Its O-V-E-R, I can practically guarantee it. By many measures we hit record major extremes in late Nov, the fever broke and it ain't looking back.

NAZ Fucutures getting spanked - down 6.

No more tricks left in the bag.

Pile,

Looks like you're right. I was hoping to play a swup up after a two day down then short but as you say, the futures do not look promising. I may abort this expedition at the open tomorrow. I'll see what things look like then.

Butt,

Thanks anyway, I'm going to look into it.

Mark,

 Glad to see you back!!

BU: I think any of the mid-tier unhedged miners would be a better pick than NEM. I'm real fond of GG, I'm sure others have their favorites, but Bob McEwen is sitting on a goldmine(pun intended). Also, If you like GFI, if it was me, I'd take the portion allocated towards the SA issue, and split it 70/30 between GFI, and GSS. GSS bought @ 1.25 or lower is a Strong Buy in my Book, and there actually making real money.

Nice to see you guys talking about Gold. It happens to be my favorite subject. Although, I specialize in numismatic coins, any chunk of the yellow metal suits my tastes just fine B) .

I'm personally hoping for a retest of the highs here, I'm still sitting on most of my gun powder, although after looking at Pile's charts. I may have to go with what I've loaded thus far, and hope for a couple of +1000 tick days in between. Heavy into the Unhedged mining sector, and european gov's.

The commercial I love to hate is, "I believe in the market, I believe in me". Sounds like the ad company came right out of the Jim Jones camp. Makes me want to let loose of the chunks. You know, the same feeling we all get when Abby Just a Colon graces us with her majesties presence on the sh#t box.

Doc: Looked all over the bookstore for the Hurst book we were discussing through e-mail. WHERE is it

Saw the comments in todays thread about the "minority" actually coughing up the small fee for Analz access. Paid up stoolizen here, were talking 19.29 for three months. Hell I'd give that to doc just because he's a decent guy. You'd think he was asking for a million.

Yeah, well, we'll see won't we? Good possibility of the old 3 am fornicatetures Jam Jobber... Plus their decision on interest rates in Europe... I am going in flat tomorrow... except for some cheap miners I bot this afternoon... I sure would not be surprised if these NYC crackheads found a way to open them higher tomorrow... Hell, they're still cleaning up the floor from Maria's orgasm from Monday Morning's open... I did get a kick out of "da Brain" this morning on squirt box with his "where did the rally go?"... Don't be surprised at all if these things retrace some tomorrow, before finally letting go... The job of the market maker is to run you off your short before the real damage begins...

Coinguy: thanks for info. A while back, I read a good article regarding the various gold companies. Sadly I didn't print it and now I can't find it. I thought the article was on zealllc but I couldn't find it,

maybe it was financialsense or goldeneagle.

My interest in gold has been raised as my friend is

a mainstream MF value guy.

I think we should all be a little careful - some smart minds are suggesting it tries one more stab at 8/22

I am no expert on gold. I would go with Doc's analysis in the Anals. I have never been enamored of the yellow stuff but I can see where it would be prudent to own some physical.

As far as NEM it has been very weak lately so I personally wouldn't pick it. ASA is one I have followed but is not talked about much around here. They own pieces of South Africa miners. Other than the potential country risk it has the advantage of not having all it's eggs in one basket. Thor has been paying a lot of attention to gold so you might try asking him. I think Fartpolio Manager plays gold very well and he seems to really know the miners.

I posted an interesting article in last evening's Night Stool from Callandra on the nuts and bolts of the miners.

Looks like they are breaking out. The 17 day rate of change and the sto which represents the 10-13 week have turned up. The 10-13 week seems to be turning early??? Once again ask some of the others.

I see you got some answers already. GG sounds good to me.

Oh yeah I'm a sucker for well endowed ladies also but I appreciate all kinds.

MouseyDung:

I too tried a long scalp of VTSS when I noticed it gapped down on open to fill and earlier gap up. Figuring it will probably bounce and close the gap today at some point I bought some at 2.38 - hoping to scalp it to at least 2.70. Of course, that gap might not be filled for 10 years, but worth a shot - I figure.

Even if we're wrong, at least we are trying to act on our beliefs. Always a good thing. And even better if you are reasonably patient, but not complacent or stubborn. If it goes too far against me I will dump it. And the cost will be chalked up to learning how to really trade these markets.

Not so easy, is it? ;)
