Best time to short is the first rally after upsdie cmaps are met and next longer cycle that your trading cycle is heading down. my style too. Perfectly worded description Doc. Seems many that trade are just quick draw gun slingers with little or no plan... My AMZN plan was:  Short on the retrace .382 @ 22.60  with fib targets .236 @21.79 .382 @ 21.24 .500 @ 20.80 .618 @ 20.35 .786 @ 19.72 etc. with trailing stop just above each fib level  really should have a plan on everything.  Remember, One has no control over the markets.
