orvack
Uranium daily panic. STM.v Strathmore Minerals Corp. +15% @ 0.99$ Looks like a negative divergence in the Ultimate Oscillator. Tanks. I'll watch the rising tendline carefully. There might be some noise as Sprott now owns 20% of Strathmore through a private placement at 0.70$. No warrants. Grand Poopercycle
'Fluff factor' in payroll jobs #('Birth/Death' model impact)....... +120,000-83%(!) of 144 K (alleged) total. Since March, 'fluff' totals 829 K-over 75% of new payroll jobs reported over the period(over 160% of June's). Now, it is necessary to use models/assumptions in a big statistical cluster#@!* like the employment SWAG, but they deserve be well-salted(say whacked by 50%) in evaluation. Question above on monthly payroll job rise to keep even with population-current guess in 150-160 K area. Job market, especially for relatively older, relatively skilled folks, still sucks especially at this point in business cycle(nearly 3 years past beginning of upturn in cycle)-should have been aver- aging near 300 K per month for close to 2 years; Comstock Partners has done some good analysis on job growth current vs. prior upcycles(easily worst since WW2). machinehead
Anti-Bush Protesters Ordered Released Demonstrators Were Held Illegally, Judge Ruleshttp://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A...anguage=printer Several dozen of those detained said that they had not taken part in protests. Police apparently swept up the CEO of a puppet theater as he and a friend walked out of the subway to celebrate his birthday; handcuffed two middle-aged women who had been shopping at the Gap, and arrested a young woman as she returned from her job at a New York publishing house. [...] In all, police arrested more than 1,700 people, or nearly three times as many as were arrested in Chicago at the 1968 Democratic National Convention, which had far more violence. Police have used large orange nets and riot and motorbike squads to sweep up dozens of alleged protesters. What nation today does not hold political prisoners? :shocked Mayor Mike "Shvuntz" Bloomberg's holding pens for "pre-emptive arrests" Can your "First Amendment" save you now? Lock Limit Down
IF I was a bull I would be very worried. on the surface the broader market is shrugging off the news. Slightly below the surface, despite volume running above the 10day avg, you can't sell anything. I'm not just talking tech. In the financials I have tested the water in a few big stocks like GS MER C JPM. On a burst of buying I will sell a few thousand shares. Not only does the buying stop but all bids are being pulled. I have never such a low level of liquidity even in front of a holiday weekend. Rog Your posts are so insightful Many many thanks On another note... Gold and silver are getting massacred I believe the metals are the number one concern of the matrix. Altenate forms of currency will not be tolerated. They will fail. i dont care if its tomorrow next week or next year... BECAUSE I..... TAKE DELIVERY if you believe in paper you believe in the debt bubble thats built on a mountain of lies Notice how the most watched indicator in the world continues to be propped at all costs. Very easy for these drips to prop 35 stocks. It will be the last to fall as they maintain lies for continuation of power.

soup
Grandpooper: Good point(s). True unemloyment is in double digits. The fact that folks buy into the govt lies is, well, another example of the steady decline of western civ. TOo many folks have bought the grand lies, so they are forced to believe, they know the truth is too much to handle.
soup
Yes, one grand police state, and as long as they can keep the ultimate sound bite avg well bid, there is no outrage. A multi pronged attack, if you will.
