All Ords did a painfully slow crawl up to finish +0.8%.  Best off were Miners/Materials +1.5% and Telecomms +1.3%.  Only downers were Healthcare -0.7% and Consumer Discretionary -0.2%.

Over in Asia, China and Hong Kong +1.7%, Japan +0.5%, India currently +0.4%.
 

 

UK/Europe: FTSE +0.3%, DAX +0.9%, CAC +0.7%.

The 'news' doesn't look like it is enough to keep this thing down. 

 

With all deference to Lee that 6 month cycle low is as he points out way overdue. 2 some months of down is all people can stand. A big break now to new lows would defy a lot of conventional chart analysis it seems to me. 

The Treasury calendar is going very quiet here. Maybe not the typical seasonal jolt of liquidity but not the gigantic drain of the last month.

 

Shanghai isn't missing a beat since Xi declared himself Jr Emperor.

Breath have drastically improved since the initial leg down in early feb. I got buy signal as of the close. I think we get a bounce to 2720 min in the coming days.
