The brown one
I'm seeing it up .68 If that's accurate...there goes the housing sector Dont forget how backwards this environment is. Airline index up almost 10% in two days on 50 dollar oil and 16 year highs in jet fuel just food for thought... Expectations LLD,expectations----of more public participation in their enterprise. Baleout with public money of their pension plans?

traderfromhell
At least 35 people have been killed in a multiple bomb attack on a US military convoy travelling through Baghdad. Police said the first blast appeared to be a car bomb, which was followed by two more as US soldiers rushed to help those hit in the first explosion. A hospital said it had received many dead bodies, including many children, plus dozens of injured people. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/3702710.stm horrible news. but given the situation there, you'd think they could skip the celebrations when they open a new sewage plant: The bomb struck near a ceremony to open a sewage station, and as a US military convoy was passing. Doesn't matter because Bush is a guy most Americans feel they could invite for supper. He doesn't speak another language. He doesn't like to travel. He is a leader, a decision maker. Doesn't speak any discernable langua you mean.
Mars
Merck at 33 is an 8-yr low, yields 4.58%. Hedgehogs will pile in for the bounce, I suppose. MRK is actually very attractive at an 11 PE vs an 17 PE for the Industrials. Wouldn't be surprised to see it go back up quickly.

"We can - and should - celebrate the fact that, this year, there is no major financial crisis to talk about. Remember that in the 1990s we were preoccupied with such crises," Snow said. The brown one
Sorry LLD me being sarcastic--I have no idea why airlines should be up except that today a parallel universe exists. What should happen according to logic and funnymentals and what does happen in Mad Al's topsy-turvey world of the 100 trillion derivative invisible pink elefant in the corner of the room! Yes,that would explain it!
