All Ords closed -0.3% with most sectors down.  Miners did ok, +1.4% followed by Materials +0.9%.  REITS, Healthcare and Utilities were down the most, all -1.2%.

Over in Asia, China +0.8%, Hong Kong +0.5%, Japan +0.3%, India currently +0.1%.

I keep saying this but the beating in the metals seems very similar to July 2008. I think the metals are signaling a market dislocation around the corner........and for those looking to park money in crypto currencies, if there is a "rush for liquidity" event, good luck trying to find a bid when everyone else is doing the same. Amazing the amount of risk one takes with holding onto to pure hope. Although the technology or transaction process has promise, at least with stocks or commodities you have some form of ownership or counterparty.
