Charmin
If the Fed ain't buying gold to save this country - then we gots a real problem with their thinking gold 498 ought to be a highway billboard notice how the blue stochastic is hitting a low about every 4 hours I'm thinking to myself - this baby has another week or so to run - calm down and ride it out - add on cheaper juniors when they go over their previous high on volume. Slothrop
Since we hit the 355 target, what do we have now? It's hard to read. Probably a completed 5, even though the 4 reaches a bit too high -- sometimes that happens in commodities. So, sometime soon, within hours, we should get a B wave back up toward the 355. Troubling thought: the gold market has a reputation for peaking suddenly and never looking back. Prechter's scenario for 200 (before any real blast-off) may come to pass. We'll know soon enough. If the price exceeds 365, we may have to write off the 200-dollar scenario and rethink it.
Guest
Charm, I picked up some GG bracelets and a necklace from GFI on the selloff! Looks as though POG is turning around again!

Guest AssMaster
Has anyone thought about SWC? It seems to be rolling along the bottom. Perhaps it will get pulled up? Of course, it has platinum and palladium which are not gold, but who knows? Certainly is not overbought, haha!
Slothrop
Assmaster: yeah, I follow SWC, but they're just a little bit too close to bankruptcy.

flufflander
Sold my GFI, CDE,DROOY, and GG this a.m. at open.(still have some miners in 401k). Holding a good amount of silver and gold bullion and happy as the dickens that I have it. Gonna start thinking about enjoying the holidays and maybe sleep through a night or two without checking the futures. Sure woulda liked to have the 355 gold printing during the U.S. trading day. GO METALS!!

Drano
Fine with me if gold pulls back. Then I'll buy my RGLD covered calls back. Not to mention adding to positions.
Charmin
if HL surpases it's previous high of 5.18 with higher volume than that day - I'm buying, otherwise, I'll hold back VGZ took out its previous high of 4.69 by a penny - now volume must exceed 610,700 for the day
Guest
Hey, I've got a query that I've been pondering Fur you who look exclusively at the technicals, how accurate it is when the underlying asset, in this case gold, appreciates like it has in the past month? Surely, you must take into account that the miners entire asset base have appreciated and that they now require higher valuations. That is why I'm a little perplexed about your absolute devotion to technical analysis. When I see POG go through the roof I can't help but rank the technicals as a secondary consideration to the fundamentals.

Guest
POG turns on a dime! Very easy to trade! The broads are giving back some and should be in the red soon. All that jamming to no avail!
