Paulson chimes in today: "Risk is being repriced." Says there has been a tendency towards laxity and sees current market events as a wakeup call.

Translation: "I'm shorter than a legless dwarf and lovin' it!"

Funny how every secondary indicator was predicting this. The only thing that wasn't cooperating was price.

Yet everyone wanted to believe "this time is different" and pointed to the poot-call or the short interest as proof. But those indicators, frankly, don't work the way they used to. It's a very different market than the '90s. Derivatives lead schlocks, not the other way around.

As I was gonna say before the 60 other mo-mo monkeys came and crashed the site:

2 year yields dropped close to 20 basis points.

What is the definition of bliss?

Bliss - n. The act of buying out of the money options that are now way deep-in-the-money.

I do need to upgrade the server.

We'll watch the load, and if it happens again, I'll add some memory.

I also need more subscribers to the WSE Pro or Radio Free Wall Street so that cost isn't an issue. :(
