Scottcardiff's indicator should be pretty much smoked to new lows by now.

Wild squeezes and blowups everywhere. HedgeHog failures must be occurring.

Check out the candle on Aflac (AFL). What a duck!!

Anybody buying Aetna (AET) on this morning's gap up got smoked.

Anybody shorting Gilead (GILD) on the open got killed.

Anybody short FileNet (FILE) was wasted.

Anybody Riverboating Oshkosh (OSK) on the long side got bludgeoned.

Is this the sign of a normal and orderly market?

Is this the sign of Joe Sixpack slowly getting back into the market?

Is this a sign of normal sexual behavior??

No.

These are signs of Wildcat Finance, running completely and totally out of control.

All Paper Participants in the Arena, frantically trying to buy and sell Promise Tickets, held up by nothing more than Confidence in Kopin Tan being on the other side of the trade ready to make good on his end of the bet.

The dollar is at the Do or Die line. The Crooks at the Office of Plungeland Security pounded the gold shares today in order to spook the dollar shorts out of their positions.

So far, it hasn't worked.

Take it away, Riverboaters.....

Mark, I think you are correct re: hedgehogs, but there is also an amazing lack of liquidity in some of these names. Once the shorts get crushed, these stocks are dropping like a sorority girls skivvies.

I was able to catch OSK at the bottom and flip it for a quick 5%. Even with the volatility of these stocks, they are still reversing at fibonacci ratios or extensions. Gotta love that.

It is much easier to make money going long these broken stocks as long as my indicator oscillator is going down. Once a top is in on the oscillator, then it will be time for short and hold.

As for the oscillator, it would be under 2.00 except for the high readings on the II Bull/Bear level, the still low SP Bullish Percent level and the middle of the road 21 Day P/C ratio. The score was 2.61 today, down from 2.72 yesterday. I can't see it changing much tomorrow.

Ultimately, I'd like to see the Bullish Percents reach extreme levels OR the indexes put in a top, OR a MASSIVE gap up with a 1 day trin under .50 and the PC ratio under .60.

I'm still in buy the Cramer (dip) mode, and it has paid off handsomely the last few weeks. I'm tired of fighting the government and all the panic-striken mutual fund managers chasing performance.

God, look at AMZN go. What a flaming piece of shit. Wish I were long that piece of shit. Have to wait 3 days to short it though, unless we get a real blow off tomorrow.

U.S. Restarts Its Nuclear Machine

By Yevgenia Borisova

Thursday, Apr. 24, 2003. Page 1

The United States has restarted production of plutonium parts for nuclear bombs at its

Los Alamos National Laboratory for the first time in 14 years.

Under the headline "After 'Decline,' U.S. Again Capable of Making Nuclear Arms," the

Los Angeles Times, which broke the story Wednesday, called the move "an important

symbolic and operational milestone in rebuilding the nation's nuclear weapons

complex."

Specifically, American scientists working for the National Nuclear Security

Administration, or NNSA, have started producing the plutonium "pits" that are at the

core of nuclear weaponry. (Conventional explosives encase a hollow plutonium sphere,

or pit, and trigger a chain reaction when detonated.)

What a derivative melt-up on EBAY. 95 was restance on the weekly chart from a couple of years ago. Gap above. Next stop is a weekly fibo extension target of 102.6 and a daily fibo target of 103.9 as long as 95 holds as support. Tomorrow is the 8th day of the rally so hopefully it gets there tomorrow for a good shorting opportunity. Hell, hopefully it opens there. LOL
