Injured Grizzly
Something doesn't add up here, Ebay guides up to 1.27 for the year, but estimates from First Call are for 1.34.......ebay guides to .30 for next qtr, First Call est are for .32..............they're up $3 bucks AH from the close, what am I missing here? Its new math. We had to learn this stuff in the 60's in grade school.
Major Bottom
Riverboating mania continues unabated. But there is a fly in the ointment. Notice how the Asian Beauties (SOHU, NTES, CHINA, etc.) had bearish engulfings today. May be the end of the move. But Derivative and Credit Insurance Exotica now in overdrive. Note the huge gap up on RE. Obviously, one which has profited handsomely by writing credit insurance hand over fist. Another new high for NCEN. Glad I retired. Smells too much like 1999 to me. We should all kick ourselves for missing the move from the March lows. Who would have known that Al Green's Reliquifaction Scheme would have actually worked, and reignited the Mania. Alan Newman is probably gagging and throwing up. Doug Noland is slack jawed, stuck in a trance, walking around like a zombie. The Wall Struck Horror Show has gotten even more horrific. Another new high for NCEN. And for CFC as Crash warned. We should all kick ourselves for missing the move from the March lows. Yes Who would have known that Al Green's Reliquifaction Scheme would have actually worked, and reignited the Mania. SG

Guest
Everyone watch the defense sector. Major breakouts on LLL, LMT, etc. Could be the next sector to take off. Given that it trades independently of the broad market, may make sense to add longs here.
Guest
Soup: I suspect you're right about gold tomorrow, but I'd rather let them take out my stops than to have sold my miners today only to see the mondo-reversal tomorrow. Ya makes yer bets and ya takes yer chances. Plunger
