Guest
. . . Joe Six-Pack's Guide to the 2004 Stock Market" . . . Chapter 8 ? Core Values in Unlisted Pink Sheet Stocks. This is one of the most undiscovered gems of today?s stock market where stocks go up 50 to 100% in a day. It doesn?t have to even be a real company to trade as an unlisted company. Who cares? This chapter gives investors a basis for choosing and flipping these worthless pieces of paper for overnight profits obtained from the next person in line . . . Guest
A bear can dream. A single lightning strike is believed to have killed 13 prized dairy cows at Fernvale, west of Brisbane. Dairy farmer David Potter said he believed the lightning hit a tree the Friesians were under and they were killed in a "chain reaction". "There was two big claps of thunder and when I went to get the cows, there were 13 of them dead under the tree," Mr Potter said. "You could see where the lightning had hit the tree. It's just one of them things. "We've had storms through here before with lightning and never had anything http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2003/12/18/1071337087068.html

Guest jrmfl
got this email from rick ackerman last nite: John FYI, a tidbit I received from a friend: Thought I would pass this info. along from a fellow trader.. "For anyone who likes to get in ahead of the monsters. Heads up on Drooy! I found out yesterday that Fidelity Investments is starting to buy this gold stock as of yesterday. I saw red on all of the gold equities yesterday.....except for Drooy. In looking into why I saw huge buy orders from Fidelity. They now own 2% of Drooy. If they follow the trend in the other gold equities, this will become 15% in short order. Tom" BTW - The rand is weakening in face of a weaker dollar! It is just about 6.5 rand again .. if we have indeed seen a reversal of the Rand and the CB continues to cut their high prime rate, the Rand maybe ready to head back to 7-9 which would be great news for the gold stocks. Also, recent economic news in S. Africa was worse than expected.. about 1% GDP growth. Maybe it is time to shift capital back into the S. Africans. HMY had a breakout the other day past $16 on 2.1 million shares, I think there maybe some hints to be taken from this recent action. RA
GregFokker
Furriners looking at the dead doo-lar, prolly thinking that they can get a nice currency play going by buying US treasuries or even blue chips- could explain the side by side rallies in the bond and Jokes. Still seems to be running out of racetrack to me at VXO 14.97, but wtf do I know. Maybe we see Dow 12K before it's all over. Maybe 36K. Fuggit. Still shorting it. Will not stop until it's over, either for me or the market. I don't buy garbage at the top.
