We are in beautiful Bruges today. Gingerbread house town. Lovely. But totally a tourist trap. We are paying nearly double what we paid in Spain for virtually everything.
Cell service is a bargain though. I got a sim card good for not only Belgium but with roaming in Netherlands and France and rest of EU for just 15 euros. Includes 1.5 gigs of data, local calls and 1000 texts.
I love a bargain. Hate paying 3.50 for a stinking half cup of coffee, even if it's great coffee. Same thing in Spain for 1.50.
Have fun. Great place to have a beer and relax. i remember a couple of years ago being shown around by a native belgian. We ate at the oldest pub. Been there since 1515.
Think it's still the longest passenger ship, but many of the Royal Caribbean ships now larger. QM is the only one built specifically as an ocean liner, not a cruise ship. Amazing food. 24 hour buffet. I'll gain 15 pounds. Walk it off for the next month!
i imagine that there are some very interesting people on those transatlantic trips
At sea again today. Calm seas, foggy. We are about 300 miles east of Nova Scotia and 300 miles south of Newfoundland, heading generally northeast. New Federal Revenues report will be posted in WSE in a couple of hours.
Yesterday, We pushed our clocks ahead yesterday by one hour at noontime. Will do the same today.
Incredibly, it is 61 degrees here at Canadian latitudes in the North Atlantic. Weird. It should be 40-50 degrees colder.
