45 points (5%) on the 500 contract. 60 on the QQQ's. Both are up/down limits on Globex, down only during normal hours.

Link-its actually kinda complicated stuff.

Tanks! I looked around their site but couldn't find that. Good info there, although they don't mention the conditions under which the entire exchange will be shut down.

whoa, quiet here. Guess everyone's listening to Bernie Schaeffer on crapvision. He seems to be telling people to be cautious and have lots of cash around, but at the same time is saying buy tech stocks instead of companies with earnings because they have more upside - saying stuff like the Nasty is farther off its high so there's more upside.

Boy that sounds real centsible. More upside potential.........

Yeah Yeah that's the ticket more potential.

Everybody knows that "Potential" comes from the root word Potent .

So what the fine gentelman on TV is saying is that owning these wonderful "high potential" stocks you will be so PO that you live in a TENT.

That is PO-Tent-et-AL you can count on! :D

I really had trouble figuring out whether he was boolish or bearish.

Someone pointed out yesterday, retest of recent GG lows with lower volume, could be a bottom - so far so good.

What do you mean GG?

The spoo hit an upward channel line from the March 12 low to the July 1 low. Here is the bounce. There are still tons of bulls out there to buy all these PO-TENT stocks. Let um buy it up!
