elh
Hey dumb-ass, raise rates. Hmm.... middle class Japanese vs. ass-kissing politicians, exporting parasites, and global PigMen. Choice is clear. At 0.5% and inflation closer to 7 - 8%, you can hardly blame Matsui-san for dumping his own garbage currency. _______________ http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=206...C6JA&refer=home Yen Falls as Japan's Investors Resume Buying of Overseas Assets By Ron Harui March 29 (Bloomberg) -- The yen snapped a two-day advance against the dollar and euro as Japanese investors resumed buying overseas bonds to benefit from their higher yields. The yen fell against the world's 16 most-actively traded currencies as a government report showed domestic investors bought more foreign debt than they sold in the week to March 23, ending seven weeks of net sales. The currency also dropped on speculation newly created funds will start buying more assets overseas when the fiscal year starts on April 1. ``The yen will weaken as we go into next week,'' said Richard Grace, senior currency strategist at Commonwealth Bank of Australia in Sydney. ``In the new financial year, global growth will give Japanese investors confidence to put money offshore.'' elh
If it's true that the average Nikkei-san is accelerating his purchase of foreign assets, that would probably provide the mass distribution mechanism for global PigMen to unwind their carry trades at low cost. PigMen screw over the average American. check. PigMen screw over the average Japanese. check.
