It was a Coach bag I think and I was a bit startled at the price. A little less than $1,000. This was back in the late 1980s when that was a lot of money. She decided not to buy the bag (which was okay by me). But they did have pretty nice looking stuff back then. Fast forward to today when most of the stuff that they sell looks like contemporary housing junk to me. But it apparently sells. To someone. Reminds me of the episode of The Lucy Show when they dress up in burlap bags that were supposedly designer stuff and a real designer copied Ricky's design.
