DrStool
I spoke to Mark today. He promises to come back when his workload eases, the SPX is well above 1260, and K Wave gives him some respect. (OK, I made that last part up. ) Mark, we miss you. Take care, and come back soon!

sarcastro
Gee, it's too bad the ENTIRE Gulf Coast wasn't annhilated, because then, we'd have TEN times of much construction to do, which would be so good for the economy, the Dow would be up 2000 instead of 200! Seriously, I thought the economic spin after 9/11 was beyond belief ("Be a patriot and buy some Qualcomm!"), but this really takes the cake. I have no idea when this spin cycle will end up breaking the entire washing machine- I gave up trying to guess a few years ago (has it really been YEARS already?!)- but when it does- AND IT WILL, EVENTUALLY- I think it'll be even worse than most bears could imagine. At least gold was up a little today....
