While some had begun to be delivered, her office had been inundated with calls from anxious voters who still had not received their ballots. Broward is the most heavily Democratic county in Florida. The absentees are mostly retirees, and New York based snowbirds, overwhelmingly Dem. I am saying it again. The FIX is in. Bush wins Florida and Ohio. I never thought of the fact that they control the Postal Service in addition to the State Elections Supervisors and the Federal Courts. Those of you predicting a Kerry landslide are out of touch with how Fascism works. Kerry may win the popular vote, but he will not win the Electoral College. Cheney has already announced the results -- 52% R, 49% D. They have MULTIPLE plans to achieve this, from manipulating WHO votes, to working the black boxes, to bribing the judges. The 'results' have nothing to do with how people voted. Compare the exit polls to the announced 'results,' and you may see gaps of 10% or even 15%. A Kerry victory is not in the script. Hard to imagine the chaos that could break out in that region if he doesn't make it. MrHankydoesWallStreet Posted October 28, 2004 Report Share Posted October 28, 2004 I must tell you all, I sure have felt completely manipulated by the market this year! But this has been a very unusual year with a moderate SP 70 point range mildly downsloping channel...usually considered bullish (bull flag) going on almost the whole year. 1997 was the last time I remember anything resembling this but that was after a the big bull run from 1994. This year as we turned down each time I have noticed more sectors rolling over and biting the dust which has made me very skeptical of a bullish resolution. However the past month with technology showing strength and the transports charging to new highs has got me totally perplexed. Also the idealized 4 year cycle tops here but has a strong tendency to right translate at tops thus prolonging the upward price action before rolling over. Also we have the undeniable strong seasonal period kicking in right here. I look at idividual charts of 100's of issues mostly DOW and NDX and SP 100 just rapidly clicking through them and check sector strengths to try to get a feel for things too and it really is a mixed picture but many big caps got smacked heavily outside of technology on this last downturn. Usually these heavy volume gap downs are the start of prolonged sell-offs. I have posted a few of them like FNM. SO I have been sticking with my bearish point of view and finding good reason but this week is starting to show some changes that the bulls and buy in Nov crowd may be rewarded as usual. Well, those of you who watch me trade know I am primarily a "system" position trader. I look for trends in the multi-day to weeks timeframe. The irratic action and rangebound market has not given me much to work with in my trading style this year. But all I can say is this too shall pass and once we get a trend I should start making money again even if it is UP. I hate to break it but this weeks action is turning my LT Hank-o-Meter positive and I believe it will signal long soon (it went on SELL signal at the June top of the range) Of course I would have to then bias my trades to the dark side. This could make a run to the .618 but it is going to need the techs and financials pouring it on...and it's hard to imagine how this will occur but I have learned to expect the seemingly impossible in the crazy world of trading to the point that often makes you feel manipulated Regards, Hank Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

On Globals National Newscast this... there is unprecedented security in Washington all people, and vehicle's in the vicinity of the Capital buildings are stopped, searched etc as an attempt might be made by Al Quackda to disrupt the election yada, yada....So Global last night sent a camera man and a reporter to record the unprecedented security...while doing a pan for background the cameraman films a naked woman emerging from the fountain in front of the rotunda of the capital building the crew then rush over and talk to the young lady who says she is being filmed for an Intro on a porn site. Global later report the incident to Homeland Security (after of course making a copy of the clip) and ask politely how this could happen. Tonite they go back to the fountain to do a live..we were there interview and are stopped by a flying squad of Cops who say...NO you can't go there you need a pass but Global did show both the woman and the flying squad of Cops.
