I think we finally have the grain bottom today.

Washout day.

Corn blew out stops below 2.00 down to 1.97 but now is back up to 2.02

Wheat blew out stops below 3.00 down to 2.97 but now is back up to 3.07

Beans still down hard but that's mitigated somewhat by yesterday's rally.

I expect more sloppiness and shakeouts but basically the bear move is over, the big risk now is to the upside.

13wk t-bill 1.65%

has never traded near 1.75% since the fed "raised rates" last

looks like a rounded top

lot of money betting 1.65% is worth being "safe"

wonder what "they" are worried about?

HGX implosion

i'll be short hgx when it breaks 344 - not until

mining stocks buying opportunity

still holding CDE up almost a buck and sold covered calls so holding

closed out WHT with small profit, starting to panic already fearing won't be able to get my position back at a lower price, not comfortable being in cash (dollars!) but hoping for more of a correction here

plan to get some BGO and PAL on the dip

don't know how long I can restrain myself :shocked

I sold half my miners the other day when Doc said it was toppy. That way I'm guaranteed to be wrong whichever direction it goes -- either I shouldn't have sold, watching it go up, or I should have sold it all, watching it go down.

Now I have the opportunity to be wrong again, by buying too early. Or too late. :P

From Stooltrading

FWIW I use Doc's cycle's in my trading and have found it especially useful for my swing positions that I hold for 1-3 weeks.......it has helped me trade less on emotions and more on the signals.......I'm a bear at heart, but know the market does not go down in a straight line, when Doc indicates a cycle low I have learned the hard way to take heed. It's too bad more stoolies don't take advantage of Stooltrading and the Anals, well worth the price. Many tanks Doc for all your work. biggrin.gif
