Wish I could come.

Funny thing though. The majority of those in both the first, second, and third groups defected or disappeared. Some for personal reasons. And some had a "conversion" and went over to the "dark side."

We miss them all, no question. (Some more than others. :) )

Some of us run out of money sooner than others.

OK- mid November....  how about Thursday the 11th?

Works for me.

Let's have it in MH's back yard so we can scare the neighbors.

Our neighbors in Skunk Holler are the Clampetts.

They have some hound dawgs and chicken coops in the back yard.

anotherone grew up in Rockland, he knows what I'm talkin' about ... ;)

Yep. And used to do night security at a university research facility on the NY/NJ border. The guy who ran the machine shop lived on site and some of the skunks ate with his cats. Consequently these skunks learned to be friendly (no stink == free food), which is good becuase they had no white stripes!!!!

The regular skunks were quite abundant though. Those you keep away from.

You must be talking about Lamont-Doherty observatory.

There's been a dead skunk on the road for 3 days, near there. Tonight its mate was there, too. "Suicide by car." :(

Yep. That was back in the mid-late 70's.
