Stutz
I got bounced when I wanted to respond to Fokker's "Wake up! Time to die... " with a LOL. It's a terrible thing to have an itch you can't scratch.
rog
rog: what does that mean? taking apart a big trader? sounds interesting (I'm thinking of an Indian movie where they tie big horses to a man's arms/legs/head and the have them pull the man apart! Thats pretty much it. Usually when someone needs to sell a large block of stock in a liquid company like C in a very compressed time frame it is due to distress. The borkers were looking to shop it instead of buy and distribute it. It might mean they are nervous about hiolding a big piece of merchandise. On the other hand: Taiwan motherboard shipments declined December vs. November. The four first-tier mobo makers saw shipments decline by an average of 15.5% and revenues decline by an average of 18%. This is a larger than expected drop in orders and bolsters the short case for PC and semi companies.

anoscope
what numbers would they want (round ones) for this weekend to make everyone talk and talk and write newspaper headlines? Would they push the dow to 9000 spx to 950+ and ndx to 1500 ? Do they have the raw muscle to just do it? Maybe they used that tube I made for Nightstool.
