Hey Age, not sure I "get" your cartoon.

It is from a german forum critisizing the swiss

some like gold ( personified by the biblical golden calf ) others like printing presses better and fiat money

Hey Charmin, I posted lynx to both of these already. Not had your morning coffee yet?

Shouldn't you first thank Charm instead?

Yesterday there was a fairly heated exchange on one of the other forums

This shows that positive sentiment maybe with newslettre writers but is not with the in-crowd

Thorass ; it is my fault I was reponsible for the coffee today :o

Anyway, about the cartoon: So the Germans see the Swiss as balding and bearded? No wonder they never bothered to invade. Maybe they're implying they're hopelessly oldfashioned and out of date. Got to be the worst drawing of a cow ever, though.

As far as I know it is also playing with words in the sense that the word Gebaerden

people with beards is seemingly also translated as marketbears

Tue 24 Aug 2004 In the News

The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday edition that after months of

negotiations, Ivanhoe Mines is on the verge of reaching a stability agreement

with the Mongolian government that will pave the way for the development of

its Oyu Tolgoi mining project in the Gobi desert. The Globe's Geoffrey York

writes that an unnamed official says the stability agreement is at least 95

per cent complete and will be announced "very shortly." In essence, the

Mongolian government has reached an agreement in principle with Ivanhoe, said

the official. The delays in the stability agreement had sparked concerns among

some anal cysts that Oyu Tolgoi might not reach commercial production until late

2007. However, after weeks of political stalemate after the election,

anonymous Mongolian politicians are now eager to reassure investors that the

Oyu Tolgoi project will proceed.

Maxxi: your Dollar charts yesterday were very interesting.

It's make or break :)

Or maybe just a big nothing?

As you move deeper into a triangle and approach the apex without a breakout.... the reaction is usually weak. strongest moves occur at the 50-66 % movemnet into the triangle
