Rock, that's devastating!!

I recall other pics you have posted showing the lake, boating, etc.

Nothing like a few pics to really tell the story.

How Frightening!

Here in Michigan, we have had way more rain than usual.

There is growing concern that somebody will drag out those

old plans to divert water from the Great Lakes to service

people in the West. That would destroy what we know as

the Great Lakes. so........

Are we heading for a Civil War over Water?

Thanks for the pics,

Congrats on your TSO, wow, what a winner!!

Sherlock

maybe the plans would make sense

those lakes have been feed from the dawn of man..

with global warming... we will have all the ice we needed melted

and has been feeding the great lakes forever

we will be all set,,

live happy ever after

:D

And for the enviromental impact... yes, it does leave nothing but flake particulate at the bottom, with no real source of food for fish.

Rocky, what fish?

no water---->no fishies?

no fishies--->no people food?

Seems like in the near term years people will be learning a whole

lot about the food chain.

James, those pictures are a shocking statement of current affairs.

And there is no "quick gubmint fix", nothing Greenspan or GWB

can do to make Mother Nature comply. Or is that in the Patriot Act?

What about the raindancers? or did we kill off that technology, too?

Hypertiger speaks of the coming economic collapse, but most folks

just don't see this collapse of our eco-system and how it is failing

along with the financial one. Does one cause the other or what?

The only reason I am bearish now is that as posters drop out, one by one, we are closer to a market top. The same can be said for the declining number of German soldiers fighting at the end of WWII.

The Top is not the same as Victory.

Closed my positions last week for vacation money. May buy some more lotto tickets (puts) after the Fourth.

They are scripting the Fed interest rate decision to be bullish, regardless of it's content. And albeit inconsequential, I might add.

Any stoolies inside the RFID industry, BTW? A lot of bullishness here may be justifiable.

When I logged in I could not find the B4 The Bell category on the left side of the page to get here. Is something different. I had to ask someone on Mark to Market.

Thanks

yeah, i noticed that too. i clicked on M2M and then it B4Bell appeared on the left.

I am not a computer expert, but I think occasionally your "cookies" are not registered with the first site page you hit. If it does not work the second time, you may have to contact the Dr. ;)

Great comments gang!

Nikkei up 300........

Japanese bonds down for something like the 14th time in 15 days. :o

They are way ahead of AG on fiat money creation, and I think they are starting to see the downside of that in the bond market.

However in the short run, wild expansion of the monetary base supports their market. :(
