anoscope Posted January 6, 2003 Report Share Posted January 6, 2003 see the java chart at bigcharts.com for spx. this same 'moonshot' happened on 5/18/01 and 3/15/02 and today? a pattern of double bottom ST and testing of double top. seems like a low prob to rise more, let stops protect. a simple line drawn from the closing prices 8/21/01 - 11/29/02 and still higher than today's reading shows a down trend during the last 6 months. look at the 5 year chart and note the downhill run. this former perma-bull sees 700's soon again too. I tried to sell covered calls on my 401 stock today (1000 bby) but aha! they changed the rules effective jan 1 and no longer allow covered calls. bet allowing the covered calls cuts into the loaning of shares to shorts. UDDERS are saying this is something they've never seen beFUR. The NYSE cumulative A/D line is at all? time highs. The market is poised for a breakout BUTT hASSn't quite made it through major resistance, yet. At least not decisively if one considers 925 some sort of line in the sand, or 925-935. It's beyond that 885-915 band. All these signs suggest something different is aPAW, PERHAPS. Something a bit weird. Which is how the bear will end, no doubt. BUTT SNOT here. SNOT now, GUESSES HRFF. So stands to reason mr mk will drive as many Weak Bears out eary in the year. Reason I believe mk is acting this way.
