Mortgage Applications Rise in Week

 

NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. applications for mortgage loans to buy homes rose while refinancings trickled lower last week, an industry trade group said on Wednesday. The Mortgage Bankers Association said its purchase index, a measure of demand for loans to buy homes, rose 2.2 percent to 459.8 in the week ended May 28.

Excerpt from the CBS evening news:

Wow - look at CDE go. (downwards !). Glad I sold 50% yesterday. Sold other 50%.

I've never had any luck with this stock. I'm out of all miners now.

Funny. Jubak actually has a surprisingly negative article on the debt bubble on Jubak's Journal on MSN.com. Same guy who was pumping tech stocks all the way down in 2000-2002. Makes one wonder.
