As former Secretary of Treasury O'Neil has already stated, the GWB administration from day 1 in early 2001 was committed to a plan of projecting US power in the mid-east - with regime change and control of Iraq central to that plan. Rummy and Chain-knee designed and pushed that plan even before they took office.  For GWB to not support Rummy now would be to repudiate his entire Presidency and the war in Iraq. GW Bush does not want to be President...he should hand it over to Jeb, who does...I don't think either would carry Florida.  Makes me sick how badly they've handled this.
