Guest
. . . What can they do? Sue me? I wish! Would be the best thing that ever happened. Can you imagine the publicity? The lawyers would be lined up to defend me pro bono! Just send them Otter's speech to Greg at the Student Counsel meeting. Most likely that will flumux them. BTW Good morning and Happy New Year to all.

Rockhead
is that a snowball in hell I'm seeing? Nah.......its just following within the 60 minute channel. That looks still to be valid at this point. Still looks like 893-894 to be the breakout point. My 5 minute SPX wedgie theory proved wrong. Crapola.....one prediction in 2003, one goof. Taking a mulligan.
anotherone
JPM......................... Halted over jury deliberations in the ENRON scam................... Will insurers owe JPM 1 Billion or won't they? In which case, it probably won't move the stock in a large way either direction. Probably good for a short-term point or two for those who guessed right. I expect the insurers to win which should bring the stock down. The question is how much. DrStool
Buskow- My answer was directed at creating the channels. Both metastock and eSignal have built in "envelope" indicators. You have to fiddle with the vertical offset to fit. The horizontal offset is, of course, half the span of the average. THis constructs the lagged protion of the envelopes. The forward projection must be done manually considering cmaps and your judgment. Regression projections can help, but your judgement is critical. Sorry I wasn't mroe clear in the first post. I've been doing this for 20+ years so it's second nature. I used Metastock's first program on an Apple 2e in 1982 to do this. Man was THAT ever slow! Took about 15 minutes to do one chart. I was publishing a daily rag called Marketrack for Herzfeld and Stern.
simple guy
SG updates ELN up 25% since my long pick on Monday. Look for pullback to 2.70, and then it shall likely move well over $3 per share. Havent sold.... that bullish wedge I posted did not lie... DSCM, continues to move up... still holding from 1.80... now 2.45 Markets- 2nd corrective wave upward has likely begun. Targets remain 1420-1440 on NAS, 26.40 to 26.80 on Q's... 913-922 on SP500 SG in cash, save for the top long picks listed above.... Keep it simple.... longOnUranus
JPM favorable verdict will launch 2nd stage booster on this launch - downside "priced in". Will it reach orbit velocity? Spin ="were getting all this behind us now". Great shorting op for BIG downwave coming in a few days, IMHO.
