Watching WHT.  A break of 3.08 and it's off to the races.

If it does, do you have an upside target?

Short term trade 3.24. I'm in from 2.70

Thanks Chiefy. I've had it at 2.55 in my trading account for a while now, sort of waiting for this move above $7.

 

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am somewhat anxious to see how the miners perform if this is the beginning of a Real Deal selloff.

No, I trade historical tables for the short term. No charts. WHT break of 3.08 on more than 11 mil shares should run to 3.19 or 3.24. Those are high volume days.

Don't know if this has been mentioned, but the Argentina deadline is 5pm EST, and therefore after the close.

 

Perhaps their default will bitch-slap awaken holders of emerging market debt from their paper-thin-spreads-over-Treasuries stupor and they'll sell like Mortimor was advised.

 

Maybe we get a panic out of all instruments risky like in August 1998. That'd be fun.
