Consumer sentiment slumps in early Feb., UMich says By Greg Robb

WASHINGTON (CBS.MW) -- Consumer sentiment eroded in early February, according to researchers at the University of Michigan. The consumer sentiment index fell to 93.1 from 103.8 in January. The drop was much worse than expected. The consensus forecast of Wall Street economists was for sentiment to slip to 103.1. The current conditions index fell to 100.4 in February from 109.5 in January. The expectations index fell to 88.1 in February from 100.1 in the previous month.

stop 1150 locking in 5 points per contract-yep Soup enjoyed the time with some friends we knocked around our sister city Seattle- good fun-but it has been about 3 months since we were there last we noticed the price increases particularily in food and drink. ;)

County's foreclosures up 18% for 1st quarter

 

Area foreclosure postings continue their upward climb in 2004, increasing 18 percent in Tarrant County in the first quarter, compared with the same period in 2003, according to figures released Thursday from Addison-based Foreclosure Listing Service.

 

A total of 2,505 Tarrant County homes were listed for foreclosure auctions in January, February and March. Properties are put on the foreclosure list the month before the auctions take place.
