soup
bearman: everything I know tells me the mkt should be a lot lower. IT is not. I guess the only thing to conclude is I am fricking idiot and do not know anything worth knowing. No new trades , most likley forever.
mjkst27
FWIW, weather in the NE has been warm the last few days, and the forecast is for above average temps for the next week. Price of nat gas may weaken in anticipation of smaller storage drains, IMO.
Goldmember
Dow Fibo Grid update: Lost the $SPX one, cleared the chart for long term Fibo research. Most interesting stuff. Prophet Fibonacci, as well as a host of useable studies, make them a bargain at $40 bucks a month, IMHO. Tim Knight, founder of Prophet Finance, has a bearish outlook for 2004 in his annual forecast, by the way.
Sphinxter
seems today Bears agree mk will go higher today has been a watershed of sorts I agree and it sucks. Although the 18.5% I picked up in my mining acqusitions over the past 5 trading days certainly helps. :shocked

FeedFool
Here is the future not what may happen today What's happening today happened 300 years ago in the French economy when John Law, another Scotsman, was allowed to launch the first government-sanctioned bank, which replaced coins with paper money. Commerce boomed. Politicians recognized this correlation between issuing more money and people liking you. They issued more and more money, but it was a false promise. Nothing intrinsically was being added to the economy except promises, which could never be redeemed. Selling by speculators caused the stock market to correct. The correction encouraged the authorities to print more funny money. Ultimately, the continued pumping of liquidity destroyed the economy, the stock market and France's currency. Silky_Xlax
The communications group was mentioned earlier. I am looking at CIEN - Now that it has been kicked out of NDX, it's probably free to move higher. Seems like there are many Stage-1 's in Telco group. Will these be the market leaders in the last gasp?

machinehead
Ridge is on TV in uniform, surrounded by military officers wearing sunglasses. Says Bush and Cheney being held in safe location, will not be harmed. Stay in your homes. Just kidding. If he said that, we'd have the first thousand-point up day.
