Might be a bit more action this arvo after the painkillers and hairs-of-the-dog kick in. Thought golds would be on a run but only marginal green. Am expecting a panic buying rush on golds anytime now but doesn't look like it will be today. Received newsletter from brokers re 2003: "Calendar 2003 should see a strong recovery on international equity markets. This recovery will be a surprise coming after such a long period of weakness particularly in the US." Broke through 103 which was important and touched the August 17, 1998 high of 102.82 and is camped there as we speak. Doesn't look especially good heading into the new year as each share of USA Inc. heads to new lows. The impending 50d/200d crossover on the weekly charts inspires even more confidence let me tell you... 100 is the big number now... One of my favorite charts to see what is possible... The HUI version doesnt go back as far, but still worth a look... Still holding a few baby new years longs and my goldies, Im the guy on the far right...
