CNN reported it last night: China has taken over lingerie and sleepware . factories closing throughout the US South. Bush has right to institue quotas which will save some US factories But but but...what about the productivity miracle they have been pontificating about. Surely there must be some "intellectual capital" that we can utilize to offset this. Quick - someone get South Carolina on the phone. Tell them that there IS an economic recovery. Two plus 1000 ticks and nothing to show for it, trin has doubled from .54 to 1.14 and gold and silver are flying again. Looks like a the bond is the safe haven again.
