fxfox
very interesting: since the bond auction is over usdjpy experiences a serious decline. So japanese brought money to the US to buy bonds, now the thing is done, so we go back home. When you need a freind BoJ is always there.

Dharmaeye
Well, its sure seems alot of people/ stoolies are frustrated. Life gives you a full menu. Ever notice that the Kondratif (SP?) Wave is a full life cycle and its longer than it used to be - like life expectancy. Remember to breath.
machinehead
The big deal this week may be the Fed's "bias" statement, after their do-nothing meeting. After the last confab, the Fed introduced a new twist, in which they said the risks for the economy were balanced, but the inflation risks were still tilted toward an unwelcome fall in prices. Presumably they'll stick to this stance, to avoid antagonizing the bond market. The bond market vigilantes don't want to hear that deflation risk is over, and inflation is becoming more likely. But crying wolf about deflation tends to undermine the happy talk about the second half recovery. So they're damned if they do, and damned if they don't. Good. Serves 'em right ... suckers. baby_bear
If you're trying to flatter a golfer, you obviously tell them they have a good swing. You tell a bodybuilder they have good genetics. How do you flatter a stock trader?
