Takachi Posted June 18, 2003 Report Share Posted June 18, 2003 NG producer CHK had a nice run from mid march 7.30 to 11.50 a couple days ago and has retraced to 9.90 this morning - pretty close to 38%. long @ 10.07 with tight stop to at least 10.45 for a short trade these can get hairy during shoulder season but there's increasing recognition on the ng shortage and some big blocks have gotten taken up this morning. The semiconductor rindustry is quietly collapsing but the shares are being bid up. It wouldn't matter if these companies filed for bankruptcy. They would still be "upgraded" and bid up. They have to get the prices up so they can get the most bang for the buck on the converts. INTC and AMUT green now. Riding RFMD from yesterday.
