Bearbones
For the first time in almost a year my intermediate index has gone completely bearish. The index has a record of predicting intermediate moves in the indexes. This means the upside potential is quite limited while the downside risk is large. The market, so to speak, is running on fumes.

soup
under the heading if we do not like the way the game is going we change the rules "Now that the up-and-down stock market has made many pension plans a drag, not a boost, on earnings, some companies including General Electric Co., Delta Air Lines and Verizon Communications Inc. have started removing pension effects from their executive compensation formulas. In some instances, companies are dressing the maneuvers up as corporate-governance reform. "
