Stoolander
Up/Down volume looking blow-offish, spiked at near 15:1 at the open. Question is ... does this attract buyers or sellers?
BeerMarket
if the consensus for PMI is still 47 as posted earlier, the actual is likely to be better based on the chicago number - which also had an estimate of 47 I believe. biotech mania going beyond ASCO plays. Check out the vertical start to the day for ALKS, can't find any news / research yet. AMLN over 20 again, has been over several times but hasn't closed there yet. Guest bullseatshitndie
i'd expect any spike today to hold, at least for a couple weeks. we know greenspew been holding this mrkt up. they need to unwind futures they bought. i'd be willing to bet between now and triple witching there will be a net drain. Metamucil
Bios placing a big impulsive move; most are way outside bollinger bands. e.g., OSIP, donged last week on classic cup-handle. Also dong HGSI, IMNR and GENE, looking for the mania to settle. IMCLE and other antibody sympathy plays on fire; good reports from ASCO re: cancer. Will dig further into data and ferret out the potential superhype.

The brown one
Here's a chart of the Jokes in Euro. Not a pretty picture for bulls is it! The weird thing is that in March all the Euroindices hit multi-year lows but not the US indices. If the Jokes had followed the Euroindices then,as you can see from the chart,it's goose would have been well and truly cooked! This is likely the sort of chart which put the wind up Al big time. What happened after that is history(in an interventionist sort of way)! So,if the Jokes falls below the support line(in euro) at 6800 it's all over. However,by that time,short-selling may have been disinvented by law!
