Guest
CBOE Intra-day Put/Call A chart like this is hard to call. My take would be bearish with emphasis on the 'ish'.
fxfox
SG, tanks! closed DAX short with quite good loss, unbeleivable on such a more or less boring day, but today they clobbered the shit out of me, oh well, can happen, but please not often <_< doc, cmaps were very good today

sweefraapp
SG - while no one likes a know it all - you almost know it all. I hold in high regard those who lay themselves naked as to positions and expectations.
Fartpolio Manager
The best signal to short is on a blowout opening when Maria gets her cookies on the NYSE floor... Like Monday last week.... when all the bears packed up and went into hibernation... when you're probably the only guy crazy enough to be short... in the face of what looks like a huge rally... I was wildly bearish on that opening, i'm mildly bearish here, but the higher we go the MORE bearish I get, not LESS....

rog
Rog: are they going to proce the seagate ipo on the close? They got the deal done @$12 bid to cover:1.0 very lame and looks to be a loser right out of the gate. 1) Disk drive business is worse than paper clips. 2) Management is selling, clearly they don't see a great deal of price appreciation in the near future. Oh well
simple guy
Sweefraaap I dont know it all, but I do have a method and a discipline. I have learned to stick with it and not veer much outside of it. When I cant get a 100% or 90% read, I dont take a position. I trust my gut. I also use mathematics, waves, etc... to enter and exit trades. But I surely dont know it all... but my method works very well if I stick with it and dont try to be too cute... Thanks for the props though, I stick my neck out here only for full disclosure... hell, you GOTTA HAVE A TAKE THAT DOESNT SUCK
Rockhead
NSYE TICK and TRIN still nowhere near bearish.
rog
Market is being moved around by a large buyers in the ETFs: DIA, SPY, QQQ. Looks like they are trying to create motion to spur a rally. So far it is being faded.
Guest
Option guys, isn't there a frequent pattern on the Wednesday before op. ex? Remind me, please. Can't help on that much, but watch for Max Pain pricing near the end of the OPEX period.
